The Science of Productivity

Updated: July 2, 2014

Over the week, I’ve been ruthlessly prioritizing a personal project, which thus explains the absence of new posts here in the past few days.

I’ll tell you more about that project in the next post, but for now, I’d like to talk about Productivity, which is among the least read topics here in this blog.

While I understand that most of you are here to learn about personal finance and investments, you have to realize that one of the most important tools for financial success is proper time management.

Planning your budget, accounting your expenses, analyzing your spending habits, reading about investments, writing a business plan, and doing other similar tasks will require you to allot time each day, week and month to be able to accomplish them.

If you tend to procrastinate or have the habit of wasting time over meaningless things, like spending hours watching funny videos online or reading page after page of mundane status updates on Facebook, then you’ll never be able to do the things that are truly important – things that will have a big positive impact in your life for the long-term.

With that said, I’d like to show you this interesting 3-minute video entitled, “The Science of Productivity“, which gives a handful of useful ways on how to be more productive, as backed by science.

I hope the time management tips given in this video, will allow you to eliminate wasted hours each day, so you can accomplish more.

If you liked this post, then please consider sharing it to your friends. And do remember to come back here on June 12 because I have a special announcement to make. Thanks!
