What are you afraid of?
Snakes? Heights? Public speaking?
In this video which I am sharing with you today, Josh Fraser from Boulder, Colorado talks about why you should fear staircases more than snakes.
By using facts, humor and a lot of common sense, Josh points out the disparity between the things that scare us and the things that are actually dangerous.
And in the end, he shares how his talk is not about danger and fears, but something greater and more important. Get ready to laugh and learn in this talk entitled, Snakes and Staircases.
This talk originally happened during Ignite Boulder.
Ignite is an event which started in the US where individuals go up on stage to share stories, ideas and thoughts through a 5-minute presentation.
I’ve shared some videos before from Ignite and here they are just in case you missed them:
On a related note, if you’re not doing anything on February 11, 2011 – Friday night; then perhaps you’d like to attend Ignite Manila 2. It’s happening from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at the Adarna Food and Culture Restaurant along Kalayaan Avenue in Quezon City.
I have a couple of friends speaking that night and since I’m not so sure if I could make it, I hope you could be there for them. 😀
