Updated: April 5, 2015
A lot has been happening in this blog for the past couple of weeks.
It’s nothing major but it has really kept me busy.
For starters, I did some “spring cleaning” and edited a number of old posts to insert updates, correct misspellings, tweak some of the grammar and remove broken links.
I guess a blog is also like a house, you regularly need to remove the clutter and reorder things.
Furthermore, I’ve also been busy updating my Legacy Articles at the sidebar. I added a new link called Simple Personal Finance For Everyone which features my personal finance tips and advice on how to organize your money.
The other Legacy Articles were updated as well. A couple of posts were added to the Step by Step Guide To Starting A Business, two new Allies of Financial Freedom were included and Frustration became a part of the ‘enemy list’.
There were a few more additions but I’m leaving that now for you to discover. π
So if you’re a new reader to this website, I do hope you visit the Legacy Articles section often because they actually contain most of the best articles I’ve written here.
It’s something you can do other than browsing through the archives, sorting through the categories or using the blog search box.
One of the articles I stumbled upon in my archives while doing my spring cleaning was The Value of Influencers on Personal Development.
This is actually my entry post last year for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. I’d like to think that I made some good choices last year for all of those blogs are still up (and have become influential in their own way).
For this year, as was in 2008, choosing the 10 blogs which would merit my vote is every bit hard and difficult. A lot of things were considered and I’ve challenged my own criteria over and over again just to finish this list.
Thus, in no particular order, here now are my votes for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009:
- The Thirsty Blogger
- Patay Gutom
- Let’s Go Sago!
- New Media Philippines
- The Singing Blogger
- I Am Potpot
- The Accidental Teacher
- Adaphobic
- Through The Focal Glass
- Video Chops
At this point, I would like to disclose that the first on my list, The Thirsty Blogger, is actually mine. π
While the second one, Patay Gutom, is a group blog which I co-write with other Pinoy bloggers.
Needless to say, I hope you consider voting for them if ever you’re joining this writing project.
Lastly, I’d like to give props to the sponsors this year which are: Absolute Traders, My Brute Cheats, Business Summaries, Fitness Advantage Club, Events and Corporate Video, Events at Work, Dominguez Marketing Communications, Red Mobile, Budget hotel in Makati, Lucio Tan group of Companies and Blog4Reviews.com.
