A recent survey shows that one of the top aspirations of Filipinos is to own a business.
Unfortunately, not many are able to realize that dream for several reasons.
The two biggest obstacles that are preventing people from becoming entrepreneurs are first, the lack of knowledge on how to put up, manage and grow a business. And second, the lack of resources, such as startup capital.
Fortunately, BPI Family Savings Bank has launched a new project called the BPI Nego Series, which is a collection of videos that feature inspirational stories of Filipinos who are able to find business success through franchising.
Currently, there are a total of five videos, and below are two of my favorites:
Opportunities Now Open
My favorite line from Richard Osal:
“Bata pa kasi ako, mahilig na ako sa ice cream eh. Hanggang ngayon mahilig pa rin ako. Sa bakit hindi ko pagkakitaan ang hilig ko.”
Mind Your Own Business
My favorite line from Yolanda Castillo:
“17 years akong naging empleyado, pero negosyo ang nagpaganda ng buhay ko.”
Franchise Your Way To Success
Getting a franchise helps you address the first problem in going into business, which is having the proper knowledge and systems to start, manage and grow a venture.
Because you’ll be working within a ready and tested business model, your franchise business will have a good chance of becoming a success.
Now as for the second problem of having enough resources or startup capital, there is of course, the BPI Ka-Negosyo Franchising Loan.
And the two success stories above show that BPI Family Savings Bank has already helped several entrepreneurs in making their dreams and aspirations of owning a business come true.
