The Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) marked a remarkable milestone as it celebrated its 45th anniversary on October 9, 2025, at Dusit Thani Manila.
The event brought together CCAP’s Board Members, Committee Chairs, and representatives from its 17 member banks and 3 associate members for an afternoon of learning, collaboration, and celebration.
With the theme “Celebrating the Past, Powering the Digital Future,” the program highlighted the association’s enduring commitment to promoting responsible credit, industry collaboration, and digital innovation.
Attendees gained valuable industry insights from inspiring speakers who shared the latest trends and developments shaping the future of the credit card industry. Beyond the talks, participants enjoyed engaging activities at sponsor booths and a fun raffle draw, adding a festive touch to the afternoon.
More than just a celebration, the event served as a reflection of CCAP’s 45-year journey, one defined by resilience, partnership, and progress. As the association looks ahead, it continues to champion initiatives that drive financial inclusion, innovation, and consumer empowerment in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Deputy Governor Lyn I. Javier delivers her keynote address titled “Empowering Credit Card Ecosystem: BSP’s Role in Shaping a Safe and Digital Financial Future.”
In her keynote, Javier emphasized BSP’s continuing initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience, consumer protection, and digital transformation within the financial system. She also underscored the importance of partnerships with industry associations like CCAP in advancing a secure, inclusive, and innovative credit card ecosystem in the Philippines.
Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) Chairman Rolando Ebreo delivers his welcome remarks. In his speech, Ebreo reflected on CCAP’s 45-year journey of collaboration, innovation, and responsible growth within the credit card industry.
He emphasized the association’s commitment to harnessing digital transformation and artificial intelligence to create smarter, safer, and more inclusive financial experiences for every Filipino.
Under the theme “Celebrating the Past, Powering the Digital Future,” Ebreo urged industry stakeholders to continue fostering innovation while upholding transparency and accountability across financial services.
CCAP President Geraldine Liggayu delivers her closing message. In her remarks, Liggayu reflected on the industry’s 45-year journey of collaboration and responsible credit, acknowledging the contributions of leaders and members who have strengthened the foundation of the credit card industry.
She also highlighted the opportunities ahead as CCAP embraces digital innovation and emerging technologies to better serve cardholders and partners.
