Working on a New Project: Blog Academy Philippines

Posted by under Announcements, News and Events . Published: November 22, 2013

Last year, I was interviewed by Jon Oraña of Eskapology on the topic of “How Pinoy Bloggers Build Business And Make Money“.

The 45-minute podcast that we did talked a lot about blogging, and how it has helped me pursue my advocacy of financial literacy.

I also shared my story on how I was able to quit my 9 to 5 job and become an entrepreneur.

Towards the end, I gave some tips on how other people can also make money from blogging, and use it to build a personal brand that can open new opportunities for them.

Embedded below is the podcast, just in case you missed it. Just wait a few minutes for the audio to start when you click the ‘Play’ button:

Now, about a month ago, Jon approached me again, but this time, to collaborate on a project that we know can help a lot of people out there who would like to pursue blogging.

The project is called… Blog Academy Philippines

We’re only a couple of weeks away from our official launch, but I am inviting everyone to already visit the website and sign-up for our newsletter.

When you subscribe, you will immediately receive blogging tips not only from us, but also from other successful Pinoy bloggers whom we have interviewed and partnered with for this project.

So please visit Blog Academy Philippines, and stay tuned for more updates on this new project of mine soon. 😀

    This is great Fitz!

I take it as a positive sign that I am in the right direction. It has been I guess 2 years since I’ve discovered your blog and I was really inspired by it.

I learned a lot about personal finance and now I am proud to say that I am on track to achieving my financial goals. I believe that armed with the proper knowledge, I am confident now to invest wisely and properly.

Besides that, I am also considering leaving my corporate job and following in your footsteps. This article came as an affirmation that I am in the right track.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to Blog Academy Philippines!

    More Power!

Appreciate your launching this project. Surely, this would be of great help and inspiration to aspiring bloggers, like me.

Your advice on personal finance came rather late to me (about 3 years ago)but just the same has helped me pursue financial freedom – better late than never, and I would say I’m almost there now. I’m still with the corporate environment and glad that whatever I earned goes to worthy endeavor, unlike before. Thanks.

Keep up the good work. May your tribe multiply.
