Why Business Owners And Not Just Bloggers Should Go To iBlog 6

Updated: March 10, 2010

It’s summer once again and that means it’s time for another iBlog.

The 6th Philippine Blogging Summit will be for the first time a two-day event this year. (iBlog3 was the first 2-day iBlog)

iBlog6 is happening on April 16 & 17 at the Malcolm Theater, UP College of Law, UP Diliman, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

I encourage everyone, specially those who are interested to start a blog and those who just started, to attend this event.

But aside from the learning, this event is also a great opportunity to meet fellow Pinoy bloggers and perhaps expand your social and business network.

Moreover, this event will also offer business owners and entrepreneurs some valuable insights on how blogging can help them increase their online presence and reach more of their target market.

Here’s a quick look at the topics that will be discussed on iBlog6:

Day 1 (April 16)

  • Blogging for Business
  • Tapping Bloggers to Generate Buzz
  • Advertising in Blogs
  • SEO & Blogging to Promote Your Business
  • Measuring Blog Buzz
  • Legal Concerns in Blogging for Business
  • Blogger and Advertiser: What is the Win-Win Relationship?
  • Online Attraction Marketing

Day 2 (April 17)

  • Blogging 101
  • Video Blogging 101
  • Photo Blogging 101
  • Political, Online Commentary, Social Media, & Election Blogging 2010
  • Launching Successful Blog Contests
  • Blog Policies
  • Impact of Blogging to the Community
  • SEO: A Must for Making Money Online

Day 1 is heavily focused on business blogging and I guarantee that entrepreneurs will learn a lot on that day. Specially interesting for me are the topics, “Measuring Blog Buzz” and “Online Attraction Marketing”.

Meanwhile, Day 2 topics are geared more towards new bloggers, specially the morning sessions. However, all bloggers will surely benefit from the later topics that day. I’m specially looking forward to the topic on SEO.

If you don’t know what SEO means, it stands for Search Engine Optimization.

And by the way, I was one of the invited speakers for iBlog last year where I talked about some of the secrets of problogging.

Just in case you missed it, here’s a link to my talk last year: Top 5 Tips That Probloggers Will Usually NOT Tell You About Making Money Online

So anyway, as always, the Philippine Blogging Summit will be FREE. But you have to register to get an invitation. Go to the iBlog 6 webpage to know more about this event.

I’ll be in iBlog 6 on both days so if you’re coming, I do hope to see and personally meet you there. And remember to bring lots of business cards.

Subscribe to Ready To Be Rich and never miss blogging events like this again.

Both the topics in Day 1 and Day 2 will become helpful for business bloggers and for bloggers who want to make money online. Thanks for announcing.

  2. Hi Cai, I checked the history of iBlog and you’re right, this is not the first time that iBlog will be for two days. Thanks for the heads up.

But moreover, it was iBlog3 that was the first 2-day iBlog. 😀
