What you’ll hear in this episode:

Most of us think negatively about boredom. We want life to be happy and exciting. But when things become or start to feel boring, our tendency is to try and do something new, hoping that it could bring some feeling of thrill and excitement in our life.

In this episode, I’m sharing my thoughts on a quote that bestselling author of ‘The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck‘, Mark Manson said about boredom:

“There’s a virtue in boredom and not just in tolerating it, but learning to embrace it. It’s where real value is created in life.”

I shared stories on how embracing boredom played a crucial role in helping me grow my savings and investments, as well as in allowing me to build several businesses.

Excerpts and Highlights:

My personal finance was boring because I was doing nothing else but work-save-budget… until I was able to build my emergency fund.

Investing is boring. It’s supposed to be that way.

When working in your business has become boring, it could be a sign that you’re ready to develop the business to run on its own.
