Lessons and Excerpts
Self-regulation is the ability to manage your behavior and reactions in different situations. It involves taking a pause between a feeling and an action to think things through and make a plan.
Empathy is a soft skill that’s important for human interaction and well-being. Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, and respond with care and compassion.
Being vulnerable can have significant value as it allows for deeper connections with others, fosters trust and intimacy in relationships, promotes self-awareness, and can ultimately lead to a more fulfilling life by enabling you to be authentic and embrace your true self; essentially, it is a sign of strength rather than weakness.
