The Story of Four Pinoys Who Became Millionaires By The Age of 25

This article is posted under In Focus, Inspirations and Motivations, Life Lessons.

How do people become millionaires?

I’ve written before that there are eight proven ways to become rich.

And for today, I will give you the story of four Filipinos who have been successful at it using a combination of these paths to riches.

The featured clip below is from a local television show called Rated K. I believe this was broadcast more than three years ago and it features the story of four young Pinoys who became millionaires by the age of 25.

The video is in Filipino so I would like to apologize to my readers who don’t understand the Philippine language. Nevertheless, I still encourage you to watch as it’s just a short almost 6-minutes clip.

How did these Pinoys became millionaires?

Rica Peralejo
By establishing a professional career as an actress and further growing and sustaining her wealth by starting a business.

Neneth Consolacion
She may not have won the lottery but luck is certainly on her side. Or is it?

I would say she made her own luck by having the courage to join that game show. I have several friends who dreamed of becoming a millionaire on a game show but never applied.

And admirably, she’s using the money to start a clinic. Being a medical student, I would say that the business is in line with her passion and one that truly gives value to others.

Aldrich Chua Tan
He may have inherited the business, but I can imagine the hard work and entrepreneurial training he had to undergo to gain the trust of his parents to run the family business.

Lloyd Luna
And finally, the main feature of the video – the rags to riches story of a young dreamer who through hard work, focus and the proper mindset, was able to become a self-made millionaire.

I’d say he is a realistic optimist who knew what he wanted and didn’t let anyone stop him from achieving it.

Looking at his lifestyle, I’d say he knows that wealth can only accumulate if one will live below his means. But more importantly, he has discovered the value of writing down your goals on paper.

And I would like to testify that dream boards do really work. He has one, I have one and I know several other people who also have them and we are all making our dreams come true.

So are you still stuck on that dead-end job with no savings and no clear future ahead? Then it’s time for you to act and believe that someday, sooner than you expect, you too can become a millionaire.

Special thanks to Lloyd Luna for showing this video to me. :D
