The 3 A’s of Awesome

Posted by Fitz Villafuerte under Inspirational on January 10, 2011

When was the last time you were at awe?

Personally, mine was when I saw RPG Metanoia a few days ago. A film which now belongs to one of the best Pinoy movies I’ve seen.

I’m probably biased because I’m an online gamer. But I did really find that movie – AWESOME.

However, today’s post is not about RPG Metanoia or me convincing you to watch it.

But rather, it’s about how the film made me remember the simple joys of being a kid years back.

Countless afternoons spent playing under the sun, running around and having fun with the kids of the neighborhood; and coming back home to a hearty dinner. Life was indeed simple and awesome back then.

And the good news is, life’s simple joys is not only for children; because finding comfort and happiness in the most simple things is for everyone.

Living an awesome life is something we can all do – everyday. And that’s the lesson Neil Pasricha tells us in this video below.

    Hi Fitz,

First up I’d like to greet you a very Happy New Year!

Would just like to ask a question. Do you put a lot of stock in owning real estate? Should owning your own property be one of the first priorities when building one’s assets?
Im asking since my wife and I are planning to buy a property this year and my case is quite peculiar. I’m currently based in Cagayan de Oro and I’m in sales so I really can’t predict how long I’ll be staying in one area. My family is with me and we’ve been here for the past 3 years. We’re renting right now and part of that is being subsidized by my company.
My wife wants to buy a property there in Manila since we’re originally from there and we may come back one day. The rationale is we might as well start the payments now.
My concern is no one will be living there and we’ll only be back in manila a few times a year.
In you opinion should we go ahead and buy a property even if we’re not going to live there just yet? Should we just buy something here in the province instead? Could we just invest the money in stocks or mutual funds and let it appreciate then buy a property later?

Would really appreciate your thoughts on this.

    Thanks,

    Carlo
