Random Thoughts and Learnings From The Money Summit and Wealth Expo

Last weekend was a truly inspiring and educational experience for me as I attended the two-day Money Summit & Wealth Expo 2010.
Never mind that I still haven’t fully rested from my Leyte trip, the energy of the speakers and the attendees were enough to fuel me throughout the event.
As I browse through my notes, I see a lot of really great lessons and discoveries which I want to share here to all of you – wealth building strategies, income opportunities and investing techniques that I know will help you on your way to becoming rich.
And to start things off, let me give you some random thoughts, nuggets of wisdom and important realizations I had during those two days.
Once I am able to organize my notes, I shall write about them in greater detail so you may also learn what I learned during the conference – for free. 
So for now, just indulge on some of these thoughts.

On Real Estate Investing
- It’s good to invest in real estate because it has income, equity, appreciation and leverage.
- One of the best way to earn from real estate is through foreclosed properties offered in banks.
- Real estate investing simply involves going through the cycle of Find – Fund – Fix – Sell – Profit.
- Never fall in love with your investment.
On Selling
- Selling is a matter of attitude.
- A salesman does not attack, blame and complain.
- Everyone is a prospect.
- If you want to succeed in selling, you need passion, practice and persistence.

On Stock Market Investing
- The stock market offers one of the best investment returns.
- There is a proven strategy to make good money from the stock market.
On Forex Trading
- Forex offers one of the fastest investment results with high returns.
- The foreign exchange market is open 24 hours “almost” everyday.
- It’s a fast way to make a quick buck, but ONLY if you really understand it and know how to “play” it.

On Internet Affiliate Marketing
- The internet offers a lot of ecommerce opportunities which anyone can tap, a true work-from-home opportunity that gives great income.
- You don’t need to be a writer to have an ebook which you can sell online.
- Aside from electronic books, there is a lot of digital products from other companies available on the internet which you can sell and earn commission from.
On Network Marketing or MLM
- There is no saturation of the market.
- Network marketing is all about building teams, not just selling products.
- A network marketing business usually takes five years to mature.
- You should choose a network marketing company as if you’re choosing a spouse.
“Self-education will make you a fortune.”
On Franchising
- The success rate in franchising a business is much higher than starting a traditional business.
- Franchising grows more during times of market recession.
- There are institutions that can give out loans for the purpose of franchising a business.
On Becoming Ultra Rich
- Work smarter not harder.
- If you want to be ultra-rich, you have to learn how to start a business, then support it with real estate investments and paper assets.
- Anyone can achieve financial freedom.
I must tell you, these are just the very, very tip of the iceberg of knowledge that I was able to learn on those two days. And the best part is, I’m going to share all of them to you here in the next few weeks.
