My Digital Filipino 2008 Web Awards Experience
This article is posted under Blog Announcements, News and Events.The Digital Filipino 2008 Web Awards Ceremony was successfully held last November 5 at Taste Asia, Mall of Asia. In attendance were some of the Digital Filipino Club members, event sponsors, fellow Pinoy bloggers and eCommerce companies.
This event aims to advocate the use of the internet for business development, through the identification and recognition of various websites in the Philippines.
With over thirty categories from Art and Beauty to Travel and Tourism, these websites were reviewed and judged for their ability create a noticeable presence on the internet. Meanwhile, commercial websites were reviewed for their ability to provide customers with an easy and effective eCommerce experience.
This year’s entries were nominated by the public and industry peers and was judged openly by members of the DigitalFilipino.com Club. The criteria for judging included search engine readiness, content organization, site structure and navigation, web design and functionality, technical performance and interactivity.
I’m proud to tell everyone that Ready To Be Rich is among the finalists for the Blog – Professional category along with Animohosting, EntrePinoys Atbp., Entrepinoy Bank, YugaTech, Tech At Hand Dot Net, IT Talks!, Filipina Images and TurfSite Manila. It’s really an honor to be with these great blogs.
In the end, my friend Dexter won in our category and I received his award on his behalf. Congratulations Tech At Hand!
