My 2008 Philippine Blog Awards Experience

The 2008 Philippine Blog Awards was successfully held last Sunday at the One Esplanade, SM Central Business Park, Pasay City.

Now on its second year, this special event hopes to recognize the finest blogs written by Filipinos all over the world.

Ready To Be Rich is one of the finalists this year for the Best Business / Entrepreneur Blog and Single Blog Post categories. Likewise, I was one of the nominees for the Blogger’s Choice Awards.

Getting these honor made the gathering more exciting and memorable for me.

Also, I would like to personally congratulate the winners for the Business / Entrepreneur category namely, Pinoy Web Startup for winning the Best Blog and Senor Enrique for the Single Blog Post award.

Likewise, I’d like to extend my congratulations to Winston of Batang Yagit for winning the Blogger’s Choice Award. If you voted for him, then go to Jehzlau’s blog and claim your free burger – seriously.

It was a fun filled and productive night. Aside from being able to see my blogger friends, I was also able to meet new faces, give out some of my business cards to potential clients and quite surprisingly – I was given a very interesting business proposal which I’ll be looking more into in the next few weeks.

Again, congratulations to the organizers, the nominees, finalists and the winners of the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards! See you all again next year for the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards!

Hi Fitz,

First time for me to visit your blog. All I can say is, great job and keep it up!

Buti ka pa at naka attend ka ng PBA Awards Night. I’ve always wanted to be able to attend it since it was started last year. Hopefully makapunta ako next year.
