Do you know the story of Walter Mischel and his marshmallow test?

I wrote about the Stanford Marshmallow Test here more than a year ago and it’s wonderful to relive the lessons learned in that experiment through this talk by Joachim de Posada.

Joachim de Posada is a Hispanic-American motivational coach.

He helps companies find success in business by providing them with executive leadership seminars, marketing workshops, sales improvement training and business change management strategies.

In this short video during his talk at TED last February, he speaks about the marshmallow test and delayed gratification and how he believes that self-discipline is the most important factor to success.

Let’s now watch him deliver this message:

If you were given the marshmallow test? Do you think you would pass?
