Money is the root of all evil? Sounds familiar?

Everybody needs to be rich with one goal in mind: helping the generation of wealth unto others. If every Filipino would start getting converted into that mindset then our topics wouldn’t be about wanting to be rich but rather wanting to let others be rich. Unfortunately, this is hardly happening generally, hence, your wonderful topic about wanting to be rich to help the family.

Yes, that should be the case. But sometimes, your family can take you for granted and that’s when some people feel “unhappy” being a breadwinner. In this case, one should be open and tell them that once in a while, he/she wants to feel appreciated.

Helping one’s family financially is definitely not a misdirected goal. But sometimes, breadwinners want to feel appreciated. Other times, they just feel tired and frustrated. That is why it’s important to also give importance to one’s self-fulfillment because it gives us energy and inspiration to do more.

I think the feeling is mutual kuya fitz so I wanted to research more to help my self and other fellow filipino breadwinners to lighten the weight that they carry on their back.

I don’t agree that helping one’s family is a misdirected goal. Many of the most successful entrepreneurs in today’s economy are people whose vision looks far beyond themselves.
