   I am planning to open a Computer Training Center that will teach a basic knowledge about how the computer works, how to build one and to troubleshoot and repair it. Basic networking will be included. This will be a short course say about 2 months. It’s a kind of livelihood training course that they use in a short period of time of training.     Hi islebabe,

    I’m not really well-versed with starting a network marketing business but I will do some research on that and answer your question through a blog post. Hope you can wait for that.

    In the meantime, I suggest you already get some of your products and try just selling them yourself. This way, you’ll be acquainted with your target market already and discover some effective selling strategies.

    From my what I know, a network marketing business cannot survive alone from its downlines. It should have a strong and marketable product. In short, even if recruiting stops, the business should survive on product sales alone.

    Hi Brother Fitz,

    This is Isle again. I posted a comment above regarding the networking.

    We really want to put an international product here–a Supplement. DO you think we can take some here and sell it directly without any papers yet? It must be illegal if we did that huh..?

    We would like to start without spending much yet until we’re very sure that the product will be very competitive and that it will be demanding.

    I hope you can help me with this Sir Fitz because I don’t know where to go. I went to the municipal hall here in our town but the staff just gave me the same list of requirements when you’re putting up a local business here in PI. He didn’t even tell me that I will need a BFAD approval for that.

    Please help us because my fiance and I are really interested to import that product here.

    Hi islebabe, yes you can bring some of the products here and sell it on a personal level. Don’t make it into a network marketing business (yet). Think of it as selling something you have to your friends – a casual transaction. Just for you to test your market.

    In any case, if you’re really serious with bringing the product here in the Philippines, I’d suggest you consider hiring a business consultant and a marketing company for you to get a good understanding of the local situation and your specific niche.

    In my personal opinion, your business needs exhaustive planning and if you want to be competitive, you’d really have to invest time and money to come up with your business strategies.

    That being said, I suggest you seriously consider your available capital and don’t start the business unless you have enough to follow through with all the necessary business infrastructure.

    You should check the schedule of Negoskwela of all bagmaking courses (pattern, design and others) at Sunday Bulletin. You can call them up if its not in the ads. I hope you can catch up the bag pattern on 21 & 22 April 09. Another in May 2 & 3, bagmaking with sewing. Im planning to offer other courses such as walletmaking, sandalmaking and leathercraft.     If you want to start in the bag business, you should know the type of bags that you want to make and which you can SELL. The bag business is a very competitive one. Apart from that, this has a very wide range in terms of prices and clientelle. If you love bags then go for it.

    Gud day! I got inspired with Rajo Laurel’s R2R that i even tried making bags out of rags from which that rag was made by igorots of baguio. This rags are weaved and i just turned them into bag out of my curiosity. We just hope that you can help us find seminars or training in bag making that we can improve our work. Actually we started opening a store in Robinsons Pioneer to just see how the mass could react in the market. People appreciate it but most of them say that “ang mahal naman”.     i saw an ad regarding homebased on-line ticketing, that they will give you a free access to their website to be able to transact online, but i still have to attend the training first and pay the corresponding amount to be able to get their manuals. i am very much interested with this since i have a lot of friends travelling abroad. but iam hesitant that it maybe a scam. i just want to ask you if you have any ideas about these kind of business? and how will i know if the company is illegal? im a newbie here.. i want to be sure first before i invest money…pls help me… thanks and godbless…

    -what is the papers needed?
    we like to teach the system which is globaly used since we dont have this kind of training here in philippines.
