But to reach financial freedom needs discipline, proper mindset, and increasing our financial intelligence. Many people think that they can outsmart money problems through degrees, titles, going abroad and the like. But for me, you cannot beat money problems having a lot of money alone! Sounds crazy right? Because there are people out there who were very rich before and now became financially broke. For, example, If you want to excel in golf, you must study golf and practice how to be a very good golfer. If you want to be healthy, study health and practice health management.If you want to be wealthy, study the nature of wealth and practice wealth management! For me, there are a lot of things to be learned first if we want to have a financial freedom. Many people still need to understand topics about the enemies and allies of money, how to build a solid financial foundation and many people still needs to understand how money works for them instead of working hard for the money. Financial literacy must be incorporated inside the classroom especially for the Filipino children. From a survey, Filipino populace has a financial I.Q. of 47.something %! And only 1 percent knows how to invest in stocks, mutual funds, etc..Some people just invest in stocks for status symbol, but technically they are not equipped on how to take the risks such that these high risks become calculated risks.
